& Ray as an organization has always been known for its pioneering
efforts and its entry into the field of valve manufacturing is no
exception. In 1983 C&R was one of the first in India to manufacture
the resilient seated butterfly valve. Today C&R is one of the leading
brands of butterfly valves in India with a manufacturing range that
includes valves up to the size of 1800NB.
Quality has always been of top priority in C&R and every stage of the
manufacturing process, from casting to assembly and testing, is done in
house. This has been possible largely due to the presence of its own
foundry, machine shop, rubber mixing and molding shop, laboratory and
testing facilities.
